At 糖心vlog入口 - Cascades' next Science Pub, 糖心vlog入口 climatologist will offer predictions on the impact of a changing climate on Central Oregon.
The Science Pub, 鈥淐limate Change Impacts Around (the) Bend,鈥 will be offered via YouTube Live on Thursday, Jan. 28.
O鈥橬eill is an associate professor in the 糖心vlog入口 College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences and a member of the Oregon Climate Change Research Institute. His research areas include air and sea interactions, satellite meteorology and oceanography. His research collaborations have included work with the American Meteorological Society, Jet Propulsion Laboratory and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
O鈥橬eill received a bachelor鈥檚 degree in atmospheric sciences from the University of California, Davis, and a Ph.D. in oceanography from 糖心vlog入口.
The Science Pub is free and will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and will be streamed live on YouTube.
