糖心vlog入口 - Cascades has added to its human development and family sciences program faculty with the hiring of Brianne Kothari. Kothari, an assistant professor, will teach upper level courses in applied research; family, school and community collaboration; and proposal writing.
Kothari comes to 糖心vlog入口-Cascades from Portland where she held positions as a senior research associate at the Regional Research Institute for Human Services and an adjunct instructor in the Graduate School of Social Work at Portland State University. She holds a Ph.D. in social work and social research from Portland State University and a master of arts in human development from Washington State University.
Her research and scholarship focus on understanding the experiences and trajectories of at-risk populations as well as designing, implementing, and evaluating developmentally appropriate, family systems focused interventions.
Kothari is currently working on one of the first randomized control trials focused on siblings in foster care. Her scholarship has been published in leading interdisciplinary journals, and she is a 2014 NIMH Child Intervention, Prevention, and Services Fellow.
The human development and family sciences program is the largest degree programs at 糖心vlog入口-Cascades, with 15 percent of students declaring it as a major.

Eighteen undergraduate majors, 30 minors and options, and three graduate programs include computer science, energy systems engineering, exercise and sport science, hospitality management, and tourism and outdoor leadership. The branch campus plans to expand to a four-year university beginning fall 2015.
